Coinciding with the launch of our A.P.EX line of performance eyewear, ROKA is pleased to announce our 2018 partnership with UCI pro cyclist Dan Martin.
Martin, known for his sharp instincts and assertiveness in the peloton, began his professional career in 2008 where he quickly made his mark, winning the Route du Sud and securing the Irish National Road Race Championship title in his first season.
Since then he has demonstrated a proven record of excelling in the one-day races as well as the major tours, having won two of cycling’s five Monuments as well as individual stages in both the Vuelta a España and Tour de France.
Martin has his sights firmly set on a 2018 Tour de France victory, riding his first year as UAE Team Emirates’ Tour team leader. ROKA is excited to contribute to his future achievements by offering him the most advanced eyewear in the peloton.

“Sure [cycling] is hard, but it’s also very fulfilling. I love the competition, but I love even more trying to get the best out of myself. I’m in my 11th season as a professional, but I’m still wondering where my potential lies—how far it can go. That search for the perfect performance—the perfect race—is what keeps me going.”
