ROKA is pleased to announce our partnership with professional triathlete Lucy Charles.
At just 24 years old, Charles, known for her strong swimming background is the youngest female athlete in over 30 years to finish on the podium at the Kona Ironman World Championships, where she narrowly missed out on the swim course record.
Charles will compete in ROKA’s technical racing and training gear including the Maverick X wetsuit, the Viper X swimskin and other ROKA swim products.
Charles had her breakthrough year in 2017 finishing second at the Ironman European and World Championships. She has continued to build on that success by recently dominating the field at the Ironman African World Championships, crushing the swim course record and taking the overall victory.
She now has her sights firmly set on the 2018 Kona Ironman World Championships, and ROKA is excited to contribute to her future achievements by offering the fastest and most technologically advanced swim equipment on the planet.

Charles kicked off 2018 with a dominant victory at the Ironman African Championship. Competing for the first time in the patented R1 goggles, and Maverick X wetsuit, she was first out of the water in 47:32, smashing the previous course record.
